About the Project

The Cambridge Creative Citizens Project (C3P) is a MSYEP Summer Work and Learning site facilitated by Raquel Jimenez and Paulina Haduong. We are doctoral students at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and this project is advised by Dr. Karen Brennan and Dr. Gretchen Brion-Meisels.

This summer, Cambridge teens (ages 14-18) will be using Scratch, a multimedia programming environment and online community developed by the MIT Media Lab's Lifelong Kindergarten group, to explore their own ideas and create projects about what civic engagement means to them. These projects may take the form of interactive games about a particular issue, multimedia oral histories, and more! During the C3P, teens are looking for feedback and the opportunity to demo/present their works-in-progress - contact us for more details.
